You wait, wait and wait
Trying to hurry up before its to late.
Your hoping, your begging, for this to be fate.
She draws you in with all of her bait.
But right when you get there she abruptly closes the gate.
Right then and there she says maybe we should no longer date,
Then she looks up at you and wonders why your eyes begin to swell with hate,
and why your heart beats at a extreme rate.
Now she is saying goodbye,
your sitting there and wondering why,
meanwhile you just wanna' lie down and cry.
But that's something you can do.
So you shrug your shoulders and push on through.
Your walking and wondering what lies ahead.
Next thing you know your crawling into bed.
